Hoymiles 8kW HIS-G3S Single Phase Hybrid Inverter IP66 is a high-performance low-voltage energy storage inverter designed for residential and light commercial solar systems.
The HIS-8L-G3S delivers 8kW rated AC output and supports up to 16kW recommended PV input power. Its dual MPPT design supports up to 18A input current per MPPT, providing flexible compatibility with modern high-power solar modules.
The inverter operates with 40–60V lithium-ion or lead-acid battery systems and supports up to 140A charging and discharging current. Intelligent BMS communication helps optimise lithium battery charging and energy management.
For backup applications, the inverter provides 8kW rated output with up to 16kVA apparent power for 10 seconds and UPS-level 0ms switching time, helping maintain uninterrupted power for critical loads.
Advanced features include Peak Shaving, configurable TOU schedules, generator integration, heat pump and smart load management, plus support for up to 10 inverters in parallel.
With IP66 protection, smart fan cooling, LCD and App interface, and optional Wi-Fi, Ethernet or 4G communication, the Hoymiles HIS-G3S provides a reliable and intelligent solution for modern solar energy storage systems.
